Short Story Submission Guidelines

Original Work

We accept original fiction only. By submitting, you confirm that the story is your own work and that you hold the rights to publish it. We do not accept AI-generated fiction or work that infringes on another creator's rights.

One Story Per Submission

Please submit one (1) short story per submission. Stories must be no longer than 35 double-spaced pages. We welcome literary fiction, speculative fiction, horror, fantasy, science fiction, magical realism, romance, and genre-blending work that aligns with the spirit of Sour Visions.

Include a Brief Author Bio

Include a short bio (50–150 words) introducing yourself. Previous publications are welcome but never required. We're interested in compelling stories and distinctive voices above all else.
